Author Biography

Romy Wöhlert, KINDERVEREINIGUNG Leipzig e.V.

Romy Wöhlert holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Bielefeld and currently works as a research project manager for the KINDERVEREINIGUNG Leipzig e.V., a partner in the BMBF-funded collaborative research project 'SO-SERVE - Social Service Engineering.' Prior to that, she gained profound experience in collaborative research and international project management through here work at the DIW German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin, the University of Leipzig, and the Austrian Academy of Sciences. As a lecturer, she has also offered several student courses and PhD workshops on international comparative communication and media research, intercultural (media) communication, or international team research at the University of Klagenfurt, the University of Leipzig, the University of Kassel, the University of Luxembourg, and the Chemnitz University of Technology. Her expertise lies in inter-group relations and team dynamics, international comparative methodology, and international and intercultural communication, with a special focus on academic communication and (international) collaborative research teams.
